Destination: Eastern State Penitentiary, Philadelphia.

 Photos by Pablo de Loy,

One of my travels I end in this amazing place, I strongly recommend to
visit, one of the coolest places I been too.
Its been abandoned for over 40 years and now is open to the public, people says is hunted and several movies are filmed there.
If have the chance to visit Philadelphia don't think it twice and go there, the place is very dark so you are going to need a tripod, they charge you $10 to shoot with it, but the permit last one year.
Please enjoy my pictures.

About this place :
The Eastern State Penitentiary, also known as ESP, is a former American prison in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.[5] It was located at 2027 Fairmount Avenue between Corinthian Avenue and North 22nd Street in the Fairmount section of the city, and was operational from 1829 until 1971. The penitentiary refined the revolutionary system of separate incarceration first pioneered at the Walnut Street Jail which emphasized principles of reform rather than punishment.[6]
Notorious criminals such as bank robber Willie Sutton and Al Capone were held inside its innovative wagon wheel design. At its completion, the building was the largest and most expensive public structure ever erected, and quickly became a model for more than 300 prisons worldwide.
The prison is currently a U.S. National Historic Landmark

In Search Of Rusty Gold.

In search of rusty gold i is a personal project that i love doing, I really enjoy photographing how time affects the metals and changes their form and colors such as cars, bikes, houses, etc. This is a compilation of photographs of vehicles photographed in their natural place, where they were left to rest to the mercy of wind, sun and snow.
